Philadelphia cherry blossom festival
A branding system for the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia, designed as part of my senior capstone. Inspired by Kirie (Japanese paper cutting) and kimono textiles, the identity blends traditional Japanese artistry with a fresh, modern approach. The logo and various assets are hand-drawn and painted to add an authentic, tactile quality, reinforcing the festival’s connection to craft and tradition. The system includes promotional materials, event signage, and merchandise, all tied together through delicate textures and a vibrant springtime palette.
